This mix is a sexy, classy, downtempo mix for quieter and relaxed moods. Excellent focus on instrumentation makes this mix especially unique. This dj mix integrates Tango, Flamenco, Jazz, Brazilian Lounge, string instruments, and 50′s Soundtracks with electronic downtempo beats. The story presented to you takes place in the early to mid 20th century and weaves in sounds of crackling vinyl, blues, gospel, and 20’s lounge wrapped in instrumental hip hop and downtempo. It draws upon themes of love, worship, solidarity, and crime. Music always tells a story, but this mix tells a story more so than any of my others.
